Aimee Henkell, a native of NYC and Long Island, has cultivated a diverse career as an Executive and Personal Assistant, Office Manager, and Event Planner. Alongside her professional roles, she is a passionate volunteer for various animal rescues and charities. Aimee's life took an unexpected turn when she became a caregiver for family friends and eventually her own parents.


Balancing her career, volunteer commitments, and caregiving responsibilities, Aimee navigated the challenges of coordinating medication, organizing doctor visits, arranging transportation, and managing daily demands. This experience triggered her 'aha' moment, inspiring her to leverage the principles of the gig economy.


Aimee's initiative, Team Azalea to the Rescue, aims to provide comprehensive support not only to seniors but also to busy individuals, parents of young children, as well as pet parents. Whether it's offering companionship, running errands, preparing for events, organizing parties, managing pet responsibilities, handling insurance matters, and more, her goal is to be a versatile support system. The mission is to alleviate the burdens associated with aging and daily challenges, infusing joy into the process, and liberating time for everyone.
